What are the advantages and disadvantages to weightlifting and bodybuilding?

And no I'm talking about using steroids or becoming a professional bodybuilder. Just as a hobby of sorts, weightlifting and bodybuilding on the side.

There is disadvantges and advantages in bodybuilding.It is a good thing to do in life.Well if a person starts bodybuilding he cant do anything else except thinking about what workout to do,when to workout,what to do.For me i workout 6 days a week.I use much restriction in my diet.I mostly dont eat foods that i like which contain more fat.I mostly eat foods with more protein.Sometimes i feel sick of working out cant eat foods i like.Well the good point is you can get more chicks if you have a good body and bigger biceps.

What does it mean when someone has good genetics for bodybuilding?

Generally speaking, you have to begin with a good bone structure…meaning, shoulders are broad, waist thin, legs not too long or short. Then, we either have a pre-disposition for lean muscle mass or we don't. Being "big boned" and or stocky" doesn't usually translate well to becoming a body builder, but could translate well to being a power lifter for example. Having a high metabolic propensity is also favorable…meaning, you can add weight and take it off quickly when needed.

What's the best way to lose wight off my legs?

I've been working out on the treadmill and excercise bikes at the gym. I really want to trim and tone my legs and not build massive muscles.

Actually, unless you're using some sort of steroid, some weight lifting won't give you massive muscles. Weight training is one of the best ways to lose weight overall and to tone the muscles. More repetitions at a lower weight will help you get the desired look. It takes time and patience. Continue your cardio routine but maybe every other day do weights. Start out light and work your way up.

Squats or leg press for over all, but especially for the front of the thigh. Leg extensions for the back. If your gym has a hip ab/aductor machine, use it for the inner and outter thigh. Or, when you do squats stand with your feet in more of a V shape instead of straight ahead. Three sets of 8-10 with a minute or so between sets. Start the weight at 20 pounds and work your way up.

Can danes get bigger than their genetic height if exercised ?

Can it really play a role so much important for becoming tall? But i feel good phy exercise would build massive muscle and not give them the bone growth…… Ur views people…….!

Well, think of it this way — would you grow taller than your adult height if you exercised?

You can build/tone muscle through exercise, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with height.

Ask Ben Johnston and he will point you in the right direction. But you still have to do plenty of work. DRugs don't put muscle on skinny bodies, hard work does.

It sounds like you're trying to be ripped, not necessarily strong. If that's the case, you need to burn body fat. 80% of burning fat and losing weight is your diet. I couldn't tell you what kind of diet you'll need (what percentage of protein and carbs, etc.), but ask any body builder and they'll tell you it's mostly diet.

You will also need to lift weights and work on cardio.

Since I was recently deemed a hard gainer, I have turned my eye towards Oral Anabolics. Which is the best one?

I have already tried using both the muscletech and the BSN stacks, but I haven't gained a pound. All I have gotten was either bloated or sick after working out. I can't even stomach Cell Tech anymore. Which is the best oral anabolic, and how soon before I start seeing the results I want?

A good creatine, a good protein powder and a good multivitamin is all that you need as far as supplements. I think that your problem lies in your diet and your workout routine. I am an amateur natural bodybuilder working on my procard as well as a personal trainer, I would be happy to take a look at your mass building diet plan or your workout plan. It sounds like your a ectomorph hardgainer which is not a bad thing, it just means that your diet has to be modified to achieve your goals with your metabolism. Good luck and keep training.

Has anyone actually ordered anabolics from a website and didn't get burned or busted?

I saw a couple of ads in a body building magazine I won't name and checked out their websites and they look like the real deal.They aren't the fake ones with similar names but real anabolics.It appears they are def from foreign sources.In fact they seem discreet to the point of probably not being legal and you can't order with a credit card.They email you how to make payment.No doctors or prescriptions involved.Could it be legal for them to sell but it's just illegal for us to receive?Are they going to send the real gear?Someone who has had experience please tell.

All of these sites that sell real anabolics have an area to click to see whether or not it's legal.If you're referring to SDI labs or something similar they're all garbage.If you're living in the USA then it isn't legal at all under any circumstances and may even be a trap site set up by the DEA or FDA.The chances of you actually getting real gear AND not getting busted are slim to none.Furthermore if you haven't looked into the side effects you should.It's enough to make any intelligent person not do it.Why don't you just lift hard,eat right and do the necessary research into [proper supplementation and training like the rest of us drug free athletes.And if you do decide to do it don't compete against me because it will only be that much more embarrassing when a drug free guy beats you like I've done to others that tested positive at meets.So are you lazy or dedicated?Once you do them you can never answer no if someone asks you.And they will.Or you can go to prison for buying them.They have lots of weights in prison.Joe
