What is a good supplement for an extra boost for a college student?
I am taking Muscle Milk and multi vitamins now. My friends take NO-Xplode and other NO products. I was thinking of taking something like NO-Xplode, a form of HGH, or some type of anabolic supplement (not steroids of course). I am just looking for something to help me gain some mass, and provide a little more energy. I already eat very healthy. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
taking all those energy boosts may be harmful to your body. the best thing for you to probably do is take regular everyday vitamins and coffee,coffee,coffee.

Frankly, I'd go simple and inexpensive. Try taking B-12, 1000mg, in a lozenge form. B-12 is destroyed in stomach acids so you want something you can suck on slowly so the membranes in your mouth can absorb the benefits directly into the blood stream.

Since you are already eating very healthy try a combination of Vitamin C and Vitamin E. It will improve your brain power according to some researchers. This is what I do on a daily basis.

Best advice is "READ THE LABEL" Some of those sport drinks contain a wallop of caffeine and a bunch of carbohydrates, newither of which are what you need.
During the day your blood sugar levels may drop so if you carry some dried fruits (like the trail folks do) apricots, peaches etc and some raisons and nuts in your pocket you can keep your energy level up. If you are an athelete and want a sudden energy lift you can slip a "glucoseD" wafer in your mouth.
This is pre-digested sugar and will convert to glycogen (the force that allows you to pole vault or high jump) right away.
Those sport drinks are expensive and NOT really good for your health. It's the hype that's made them popular. Avoid them.
But if you are in a hot climate your best bet is "orange juice with salt". The salt is to replace that lost by sweating and the juice is nature's soda pop.;
